In the biological sense, an adult animal or human is a person who has matured. Adults are a social concept as well as a legal concept in the human world. As opposed to someone who is not considered to be an adult or "minor" legally adult has reached majority that makes them independent competent, responsible, and capable. It is possible to refer to them as"major" or "major". The age at which a child becomes an adult legally is 18; however, the definition of"legal maturity" may differ based on the legal or country system as well as the state of their mental health.

The lifespan of a human being adulthood is the time at which he or she has achieved full intellectual and physical maturation. Many people believe that the age of adulthood is attained when you are 20 or greater. Then, after middle age (starting at around 40) is the time to reach old age (around age 60). Adulthood is divided into three phases that are: the early years of adulthood (18-mid-30s) between mid-30s and the mid-60s then late adulthood from mid-60s up to death. As we enter the initial phases of adulthood (between 20 and 40) then our bodies have reached their full maturity even though our height and weight may rise slightly. Our physical capabilities are peaking when we are young adults. This includes muscle strength in addition to reflex time, the sensitivities, and functioning of the heart.
